Lore Papers
Lore papers are notes, rotas, receipts and logs hidden around the maps. Together they tell one story, told in six chapters.
Every paper on this page is hidden until you click it. The game never explains the story up front, so read only what you want to know. This page never says where a paper is.
How papers work
- A paper is a prop. It rests on a surface or hangs on a wall somewhere in a map.
- A living Worker walks up to a paper and presses Interact. The Phantom cannot collect papers.
- A collected paper is pinned to the Case Board in the Staff Lounge.
- The paper disappears for good, but only for you. Other players still see it until they find it themselves.
- Nothing glows before or after, and there is no sound in the world. You only get one short message.
- The board groups papers into six chapters of six. The chapters gate nothing.
- The board shows a tally for each map, so you can see how many you have left.
Papers per map

Papers that appear later
Spoiler: two papers that are not there at first
Two papers only appear after you have collected others. The Note in a locker shows up once you have collected a large share of the other papers. The Film lab ticket shows up once you have collected every other paper. Until then, the prop is not there for you.

Each chapter lists its six papers in story order. Click a title to read the paper.
