What is Phantom Shapes?

Phantom Shapes is a funny online hide-and-seek game for PC that you play with 2 to 7 friends. One player is the Phantom and hides as a cursed shape that looks like a real object. Everyone else is a Worker on the night shift, and the Workers team up to find the shape before time runs out. When the Phantom starts a Hunt, the Workers run.

It is spooky, silly and family friendly, with no gore. It has four haunted maps (a mall, a hotel, a museum and a school), 19 tools and tricks that are all free from your first game, proximity voice chat, and 10 languages. It comes to Steam on 2 December 2026, made by Nasser, a solo developer at Nasser Made Games.

A Worker sets down a toy box that plays a looping tune the Phantom can hear anywhere on the map. When toy Supervisor Bob pops out, the Phantom is hypnotized for up to 18 seconds and pulled toward the box.
